After twenty years of being a part of Wood & Grieve Engineers now a part of Stantec (WGE), Johan Sadie has retired from his duties as Brisbane’s Office Manager.

Stepping in to lead the team as Brisbane’s new Office Manager is Ashley Holm.

Ashley joined our team in 2011 as an Electrical Project Engineer, became the Electrical Section Manager in late 2013 and later progressed to a Principal.

With an impressive project portfolio behind him, he’s demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to every project which will play a vital role as he leads the Brisbane office.

Australia Country Lead, José Granado, said, “Ashley has shown excellent leadership skills in meeting our clients’ expectations with his abundance of knowledge, helping to provide feasible solutions. We believe he exhibits exceptional management skills that will help guide and support our team in the exciting year ahead, further continuing on the legacy Johan has built.”

Ashley added, “I’m thrilled to have been offered this fantastic opportunity to lead the organisation and look forward to supporting a great team. I’ve got big shoes to fill, but I know we’re all eager to accomplish phenomenal resolutions for our clients.”

Johan began his career with WGE in 1999 as a Project Engineer within our Electrical division. In 2002 he was promoted to Corporate Manager and in 2005 he was given the opportunity to open our Brisbane office, which has seen significant growth under his leadership.
