WGE Director, Brett Davis is one of four newly elected members joining Consult Australia’s national Board. Consult Australia is the leading not-for-profit association that represents the business interests of consulting firms operating in the built and natural environment. The organisation operates at a commercial, community, industry, and government level through collaboration, education, support and advocacy.
WGE has been a member organisation for many years and Brett said he is proud to join the Board to drive and advocate positive outcomes for professional services firms serving the built environment sector.
“Many of the challenges facing WGE such as digital disruption, innovation and fair contracting behaviours, amongst others, align with the advocacy highlights outlined by Consult Australia,” he said.
“In my role as a strategic leader at WGE, I deal with these challenges on a regular basis and I feel I can add value and make a strong contribution to the Consult Australia Board.”
Brett’s appointment was announced at the AGM held on 14 September along with Rowenna Walker from Aurecon, Eva Wood from Jacobs and James Macneil from Beca. Kiri Parr of Arup, was also welcomed as Consult Australia’s first female President.
