WE-EF After Dark: Vote for The Link!

Brisbane project The Link has been shortlisted for the inaugural WE-EF LIGHTING Landscape Architecture After Dark national competition.

Wood & Grieve Engineers (WGE) is proud to have been involved in the project, providing six engineering services to the AMP End of Trip Facility and corresponding Link project on behalf of AMP Capital at the Coronation Drive Office Park in Milton.

Working alongside our clients Lat27, the new state-of-the-art facility is designed to support an active lifestyle and the Link component provides external flexible working and collaboration spaces.

The After Dark competition is designed to recognise and celebrate the very best of Australian landscape lighting and calls for entries from Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) registered landscape architects, applicants and graduates. Finalists are selected by a People’s Choice voting system, followed by an official regional and national winner selection by expert jury…and that’s where we need your help!

Voting is NOW OPEN for the After Dark competition, and The Link is up against 34 other projects across Australia.

All regional winners* will receive a full Festival pass to the 2019 International Festival of Landscape Architecture, including travel and accommodation, and the overall national winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to WE- EF LIGHTING Design and Manufacturing Centre (Bangkok, Thailand) in February 2019.

WE-EF Marketing Manager Alena Leonardi said, “We believe that lighting is a powerful architectural resource. To showcase the dramatic impact quality lighting can have on the spaces we live in – revealing, enhancing and transforming – and complementing the design of these spaces by day we are delighted to launch this unique initiative”.

The winners will be announced as part of the 2018 International Festival of Landscape Architecture on the Gold Coast later this year.

*regions are NSW/ACT, QLD, VIC/TAS, and SA/WA/NT
