The Pacifica is set to become Auckland’s tallest skyscraper, rising to 178m on Commerce Street. The 57 level development includes five levels of penthouse apartments. The building will have a lap pool, spa, gym, yoga studio, media room, residents’ lounge, library and barbecue terrace along with a 35-suite hotel.
WGE were involved to bring expertise and innovation from our high rise projects in Melbourne to this project in Auckland. WGE partnered with local firm ECS to provide the local input.

- Some of the construction techniques and approaches specified by WGE are not currently adopted in New Zealand. The team worked closely with local partners to ensure that the design approach, being different, is well understood. This was required to ensure competitive pricing and that an efficient design is turned into an efficient to construct building.
