The 480 Hay Street development is a new landmark in the Historic Heart of Perth. Originally conceived to include two towers, the initial construction stage – The Westin Hotel – offers 5 Star luxury throughout its 368 rooms over 26 floors. The structure incorporates the heritage listed Hibernian Hall housing ‘Garum’; a dining experience not to be missed, and offers a new retail and entertainment precinct along Irwin Street.

WGE’s sustainability team was instrumental in achieving a Gold LEED rating (the US equivalent of Green Star) for the project; a significant milestone for our engineers as it is only the fourth time this has been awarded within WA.

Our Fire Engineering and Sustainability consultants helped realise the architectural vision for the building, providing enhanced amenity for occupants and improving wellbeing with a focus on both present and future needs
