What will you bring to a project

Being in the industry for more than a decade I have a good understanding of building services construction projects in most sectors, not only in the electrical field but also across some of the other engineering disciplines. This knowledge enables me to coordinate multi discipline projects efficiently and successfully. I am organized, proactive and enthusiastic and bring many of these qualities to each and every project to ensure the successful outcome for the client.

Outside work

Terence enjoys wetting a line and catching the occasional fish. He is always looking for the elusive fish that got away no matter how big or small. He also enjoys going on road trips and bushwalking with his wife and kids. Nature and the environment play a big part in Terence’s life.

Client testimonials

Terence Ong of WGE was engaged by St Ives Group to work as lead electrical design consultant for our state of the art 8 level 165 apartment ILU Retirement Village and a complex 128 room dementia and high care facility in Carine Perth WA- total Value $130M. I have found Terence to always be extremely pleasant to work with, knowledgeable in all aspect of electrical design, is able to work with specified time frames, and produces high quality documentation based on understanding the client’s needs first and foremost. Terence also provides detailed cost estimates for our QS Schematic Design stages to assist in determining total project costs at early stage design which is extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Terence to any client considering developing aged care residential apartments and or high care residential care facilities at any time.

Paul Perin, St Ives Group

Terence …This is just a note to let you, and other members of staff at Wood & Grieve, that it has been a pleasure working with your company to date.
The response to all matters has been quick and professional. In addition I believe that W&G have managed to add considerable value to the engineering process. The proactive way that all engineers approach their work, and the attention to detail, is appreciated. The approach to understanding the client needs, documenting these, and coordinating the resultant documentation is of a high standard. We are now testing the work on site and finding that the answers are always there, which is a great positive for us and the client.
