As Section Manager, he is responsible for developing and managing the strategic and business focus of the Sustainability section for the Melbourne office. Cormac has considerable experience in design and management across all sectors, with particular focus on the effects of daylight, thermal performance and energy efficiency on human comfort.

What will you bring to a project

I will push the boundaries of design while respecting the budget within which a project must operate. I wholehearted believe that sustainability is not a bolt on extra and can be inherent within every project. My aim will be to understand the user’s needs of a space and develop an internal environment that meets those needs.

Outside work

Cormac is a keen sports fan and has tried his hand at a considerable number of sports over the years, from ice hockey and snowboarding to rowing and high flying trapeze, to name a few. When he’s not hanging upside-down you can find him enjoying everything Melbourne has to offer from an arts and culture perspective with his family and friends.
