Beau started his career at Wood & Grieve Engineers in 2009 as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer after completing his Bachelor of Engineering, with honours at Curtin University of Technology.
He has worked on a range of project, from sporting club changerooms, taverns and retail fitouts to major hotels, office buildings and some of the largest multi storey shopping centres in Perth.
His commitment to professional development is re-enforced through his regular attendance at events through Engineers Australia, CIBSE and AIRAH. Beau has been a part of the committee preparing the new Australian Standard AS5141, Residential climate control systems.
Beau has developed a strong basis in code compliance and alternative solutions. This provides a great benefit to projects in ensuring that the finished product is not only functional and efficient but also makes sense, without unnecessary components just because they provide simple compliance without any real world benefit.
I take a whole of project approach to achieving the best outcome for the project as a whole. This approach ensures that good decisions are made and the overall project is co-ordinated. My approach to achieving the clients goals ensures that at completion of the project we are sure that the project will have been a success.
Beau enjoys a active lifestyle outside of work, playing social basketball and mixed netball, whilst regularly enjoying surfing and camping trips throughout the state.
