Martin joined WGE in 2012 and in 2013 was appointed as the Structural Section Manager in the Brisbane office. He is responsible for securing and delivering structural projects in Queensland. The Structural section compliments the strong building services offering in the Brisbane office providing a one stop shop for clients including those in the commercial, residential, health and education sectors. Martin is continually building the capacity of the structural section to meet the demands of this growing section.

Outside of work

Martin is a committed family man who enjoys a healthy lifestyle where weekends include cycling, gardening and exploring the great outdoors with his wife, Frances and children, Andrew and Rosemary.

What will you bring to a project

I bring over 20 years of industry experience to a project. My satisfaction from achieving project success drives me to find solutions for the project. My solutions driven approach focuses my attention on identifying potential challenges and risks and formulating strategies to overcome or mitigate these.

Consultants Project Director for the extension of the existing regional shopping centre situated in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

Moses Mabida Stadium

Sub Consultants Project Director for podium slab design and construction stage supervision for this new stadium in Durban, South Africa, which hosted a FIFA 2010 World Cup semifinal.
