Mark has over 12 years’ experience in the electrical services industry, starting his career as an Electrician. After successfully completing his apprenticeship he moved into a management role with a high end Security and CCTV firm. To further his education, Mark studied Electrical Services Engineering and graduated whilst successfully managing his own Electrical Contracting business. Mark joined Wood & Grieve Engineers in April 2011 and began effectively applying his field experience to his projects as an Electrical Engineer.
In May 2014 Mark was promoted to the role of Electrical Project Engineer after proving himself to be a valuable asset to the firm. Mark’s passion for energy efficient design and renewable energy compliment his firm grasp on both the technical and practical elements of any project, making him an important addition to the design team table.
Outside of work
Mark enjoys playing social basketball and avoiding cooking wherever possible. He loves to spend his weekends with his DIY hat on or hacking up a golf course, preferably with those equally as terrible. He is also Wood & Grieve Engineer’s number one FIFA player on the Playstation platform.
What will you bring to a project
I’m an enthusiastic problem solver that strives to offer innovation and solutions to my clients, rather than highlighting barriers. I will bring my trade background and wealth of diverse consultancy experience to your project. I firmly believe there is no substitute for hands on experience and how it can assist in avoiding pitfalls within engineering designs.
