David joined WGE in 2015 as a Fire Protection Project Engineer in the Sydney office reporting to the Hydraulic Section Manager. With the success and growth of the Fire Protection team in Sydney, David was promoted to Fire Protection Section Manager in 2016.

Outside of work

Outside work one of David’s great loves is sailing and scuba diving. Escaping up the coast, and revisiting the Whitsunday Islands and outer reefs is something that will never get tiresome for him.

What will you bring to a project

I am extremely passionate about what I do. Understanding the client’s needs and wishes coupled with my knowledge of life safety systems allows me to provide precise and accurate documentation. I am a strong believer in the team approach and the interaction between the different services disciplines, which, ultimately leads to the delivery of a successful project.

  • Diploma in Project Management (Australian Qualification Framework)
  • LPCB Qualified – Fire Sprinkler Design 
  • Certificate in Electrical & Electronic Design (Dublin Institute of Technology)
